Question about farming for an elite skill - Guild Wars Forums

I want to get the Triple Chop skill for my warror. I know the boss who drops it is in the Byway zone only when not doing Chasing Zenmai and Aflicted guard quests. My question is do I need to have a quest, or can I just do the following:

1: Zone in and see if he is up
2: If so kill him and get skill
3: If not, exit zone and enter it again

Repeat until I get it

If you don't have Chasing Zenmai, he should be there every time. Boss spawns in Factions and Nightfall don't work the way they do in Prophecies (thank goodness).

You just made my day! Thank you VERY MUCH! I am having a BLAST playing GW1 again, and already pre ordered GW2. Since I only played Prophecies, getting EoTN and Trilogy is like having 3 new games while I wait for GW2!
